Job summary

The MetroHealth System is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to assist in delivering pharmaceutical care within specialty and inpatient pharmacies. Under a Pharmacist's supervision, you will help provide medication-related services to in-house patients and those taking home medications.

Qualifications include a HS diploma or GED, 18+ years of age, and PTCB/ExCPT certification due within 90 days (or Ohio Board registration). Travel to satellite locations may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 18 years of age or older with no felony convictions.
• Must obtain PTCB or ExCPT certification within 90 days of hire, or hold OH State Board registrations.

Responsibilities

• Under supervision of a Pharmacist, perform a wide range of pharmaceutical care tasks in specialty and inpatient pharmacies.
• Deliver medication-related services to in-house patients and take-home medications.
• Assist pharmacists with quality control procedures for drug distribution technologies.
