Job summary

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• 18 years of age or older with no felony convictions per Ohio law.
• Must obtain PTCB or ExCPT certification within 90 days of hire; maintains certification throughout employment.
• Must be currently registered as a Certified Pharmacy Technician with the Ohio State Board of Pharmacy; or registered as a Pharmacy Technician and become Certified within 90 days; maintains registration.
• Willing and able to travel to external satellite locations; must have reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Under supervision of a Pharmacist, assists in delivering pharmaceutical care in specialty and inpatient pharmacies.
• Delivers medication-related services to in-house patients and related take-home medication services.
• Assists Pharmacists in quality control procedures for drug distribution technologies.
