Job summary

Valley View Hospital in Glenwood Springs, CO is seeking a part-time Inpatient Pharmacy Technician for the evening shift (1:30 pm–10:00 pm) with every third weekend. This role supports pharmacists and physicians by procuring and distributing medication orders according to policies, procedures, and protocols.

No overnights or on-call currently; evening differential paid on top of base rate. Typical weekly hours are 24–30.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Pharmacy Tech Certification from the State Board of Pharmacy (DORA) is preferred.
• Will consider candidates with provisional certification from the State Board of Pharmacy (DORA).
• 2-3 years pharmacy technician, inpatient or outpatient experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Procure and distribute medication orders per physician or pharmacist requests according to established policies and procedures.
• Assist pharmacists in medication preparation and distribution in an inpatient setting.

Description

Part-time Pharmacy Technician-Inpatient working evening shift with every 3rd weekend. AMAZING SCHEDULE! Work 24-30 hours per week.

As the Pharmacy Tech you procure and distribute medication orders per physician request, pharmacist request, or prearranged work assignment according to established policies, procedures and protocols.

SCHEDULE

• Evening position 1:30pm-10 pm.
• No overnights or call, currently.
• Evening Differential paid on top of base rate!

QUALIFICATIONS

Education:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Pharmacy Tech Certification from the State Board of Pharmacy (DORA) is preferred.

Experience:

• 2-3 years pharmacy technician, inpatient or outpatient experience preferred.

Skills:
