Job summary

Genoa Healthcare, part of Optum and UnitedHealth Group, is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support mental health and specialty pharmacy operations under the supervision of a Registered Pharmacist. Location: 228 NE Jefferson Ave., Peoria, IL 61603.

Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm CST with lunch from 12:00pm to 1:00pm CST. You will dispense prescriptions, handle clerical duties, maintain inventory, and ensure compliance with federal and state requirements while delivering excellent

Qualifications

Active and unrestricted Pharmacy Technician license in Illinois.
Experience with pharmacy data entry and prescription processing is preferred.
Ability to drive to deliveries and maintain reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

Provide exceptional customer service to clinic staff and consumers.
Fill prescription orders under direct supervision of the Registered Pharmacist.
Order, receive, and store pharmacy supplies; process wholesaler medication orders.
Verify medication stock and enter data to maintain inventory records.
Assist in pharmacy functions to ensure compliance with federal and state requirements.
Perform clerical duties related to the department.
Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills.
Other duties as assigned.
