Job summary

Genoa Healthcare in Indianapolis, IN is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support all functions of the mental health pharmacy, primarily through dispensing prescriptions and clerical duties under direct supervision of a Registered Pharmacist. Hours: Mon-Thu 8:00am-5:30pm EST and Fri 8:00am-3:00pm EST. Location: 5839 E Washington St., Indianapolis, IN 46219.

Qualifications

Active Indiana Pharmacy Technician license required.
Access to reliable transportation.
Preferred: Pharmacy and prescription data entry experience.

Responsibilities

Provide exceptional customer service to consumers and clinic staff.
Fills prescription orders and makes them available for verification under supervision of the Registered Pharmacist.
Orders, receives and stores incoming pharmacy supplies.
Receives and processes wholesaler medication orders.
Verifies medication stock and enters data to maintain inventory records.
Assist the Pharmacist and ensure compliance with federal/state requirements.
Performs various clerical duties relating to the department.
Communicates with strong professional verbal and written communication skills.
Other duties as assigned.
