Job summary

Genoa Healthcare, part of UnitedHealth Group, seeks a Pharmacy Technician to support the mental health pharmacy team in Indiana. Primary duties include dispensing prescriptions under supervision, inventory management, and delivering medications to patients.

The role involves clerical tasks and ensuring compliance with state and federal requirements. The position runs Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm EST with a 1-hour lunch.

Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted Pharmacy Technician license in Indiana.
• Access to reliable transportation and a valid Driver's License.
• Ability to use your own car to make deliveries if needed.
• Pharmacy and prescription data entry experience (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Provides exceptional customer service to all consumers and clinic staff.
• Fills prescription orders and makes them available for verification under direct supervision of the registered pharmacist.
• Orders, receives and stores incoming pharmacy supplies.
• Receives and processes wholesaler medication orders.
• Verifies medication stock and enters data to maintain inventory records.
• Supports pharmacist in pharmacy functions and ensures compliance with federal/state requirements.
• Performs clerical duties for the department.
• Delivers medications to patients.
