Job summary

ChenMed LLC is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to assist in pharmacy operations, patient interactions, and data entry in a fast-paced environment. You will support Pharmacists, manage inventory, ensure regulatory compliance, and help provide high-quality care to seniors.

Responsibilities include processing prescriptions, system accuracy, and adherence to company policies as well as ongoing training and licensure maintenance. Excellent communication and math skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school education; state licensure/registration as Pharmacy Technician required.
• 1+ year pharmacy setting experience including data entry.
• Knowledge of pharmacy laws and medical terminology.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to Pharmacy Technician Code of Conduct and company policies.
• Assist healthcare providers and patients; answer questions or refer to Pharmacist.
• Maintain inventory; check stock, place orders, verify receipts; remove expired drugs.
• Enter patient and drug information into pharmacy systems accurately; fill prescriptions and check interactions.
• Report prescription errors to Pharmacist and comply with quality improvement procedures.
• Comply with HIPAA, Medicare, and co-pay requirements; assist with customer inquiries.
