ChenMed is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to join our team and support the practice of pharmacy in compliance with state and federal regulations. You will assist in processing prescriptions, coaching technicians, and ensuring quality patient care while collaborating with pharmacists and healthcare staff.

Responsibilities include inventory management, patient interaction, and accurate data entry in pharmacy systems, with emphasis on safety, HIPAA compliance, and third-party billing.

Competenze

• High School diploma or equivalent; education may be substituted year-for-year.
• Board of Pharmacy technician registration and current licensure.
• Minimum one year of experience in a pharmacy setting.

Mansioni

• Assist with pharmacy operations and ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
• Greet patients and answer questions; refer to Pharmacist when needed.
• Maintain inventory and place orders; verify receipt and stock levels.
• Enter patient and drug information in pharmacy systems; ensure accuracy.
• Fill prescriptions; count and verify drugs; check for interactions.
• Report prescription errors to Pharmacist and follow quality protocols.
• Comply with HIPAA, Medicare, and copay requirements.
• Engage patients to provide assistance and resolve issues.
• Process third-party reimbursement claims accurately and timely.
