The role requires state licensure and national certification as applicable, a high school diploma or equivalent, and the ability to work weekends and multiple shifts.

Qualifications

• Must comply with state board of pharmacy requirements or laws governing the practice of pharmacy.
• If the state board of pharmacy does not address or mandate a minimum age requirement, must be at least 16 years of age.
• If the state board of pharmacy does not address or mandate a minimum educational requirement, must have a high school diploma or equivalent, or be actively enrolled in high school or high school equivalency program.

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including weekends.
• Ability to complete required training within designated timeframe.
• Concentrate on a task over a period of time and pivot quickly to meet patient and business needs.
• Confirm prescription information and label accuracy to ensure patient safety.
• Provide friendly customer service and assist patients and colleagues.
• Lift and move items, perform basic pharmacy duties, and support inventory tasks.
