Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a part-time Pharmacy Technician to support pharmacy teams in delivering safe, accurate prescription fulfillment and patient-centered service in a retail setting. You’ll work under the guidance of Pharmacists to follow SOPs, assist with immunizations where allowed, and help maintain a high standard of patient care across the store.

The role requires compliance with state board requirements, ongoing training, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Must comply with any state board of pharmacy requirements or laws governing the practice of pharmacy, which includes but is not limited to, age, education, and licensure/certification

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends
• Ability to complete required training within designated timeframe
• Attention and Focus: concentrate on a task, pivot between tasks, ensure label accuracy for patient safety
• Customer Service and Team Orientation: assist patients with empathy and care
• Communication Skills: clear verbal and written interaction with patients and colleagues
• Mathematical Reasoning: calculate prescriptions, days supply, and bottle counts
• Problem Resolution: handle patient or colleague interactions appropriately
• Physical Demands: be mobile, lift and move items, reach overhead, and perform detailed tasks
• Any additional tasks as directed by Supervisor or Manager
• Anticipated Weekly Hours: 29
• Time Type: Part time
• Pay Range: The typical pay range for this role is: $17.30 - $27.30
