Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a part-time Pharmacy Technician to support the pharmacy team in a retail store. You will help ensure safe, accurate prescription fulfillment, assist customers, and maintain a caring, efficient pharmacy environment.

The role may include immunization support where permitted by state law, with required training and certification. Responsibilities include following SOPs, assisting with inventory, and delivering excellent patient service.

Qualifications

• Must comply with state board of pharmacy requirements or laws governing practice, including age and licensure/certification
• State-level licensure and national certification requirements vary by state

Responsibilities

• Follow SOPs at each workstation to assist pharmacists
• Process prescriptions safely and accurately for patient pickup and drive-thru
• Deliver empathetic, patient-centered service and resolve issues
• Assist with inventory activities and returns-to-stocks as directed
• Support immunization services where allowed by law and trained
• Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local laws and CVS policies
• Provide information and education to patients when appropriate
