Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a part-time Pharmacy Technician to support our pharmacy team in delivering patient‑focused service within a retail setting. The role involves accurate prescription filling, high‑quality customer care, and adherence to SOPs and safety standards.

The position requires completing required training, meeting state board requirements where applicable, and maintaining professional licensure/certification as needed.

Qualifications

• Must comply with any state board of pharmacy requirements or laws governing the practice of pharmacy, including licensure/certification
• Strong customer service and communication skills are essential.
• Ability to follow SOPs and pharmacy workflow procedures.

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including weekends
• Ability to complete required training within designated timeframe
• Attention and Focus: concentrate on tasks and pivot as needed to meet patient and business needs
• Customer Service and Team Orientation: provide friendly service and support patients
• Communication Skills: clear verbal and written communication with patients and colleagues
• Mathematical Reasoning: perform calculations for prescriptions, days supply, and quantities
• Problem Resolution: address patient or colleague questions and escalate when needed
• Physical Demands: endure extended periods of standing and manual tasks, lift up to 20 lbs occasionally
• Any additional tasks as directed by Supervisor or Manager
