Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support our pharmacy teams in delivering safe, accurate prescriptions and exceptional patient care at our retail locations. You will follow SOPs, assist with immunizations where permitted, and contribute to a compassionate patient experience.

You will complete required state licensing and training, maintain inventory control, and help offer immunization and other services as needed while upholding regulatory guidelines and CVS policies.

Qualifications

• Requires compliance with state board requirements and licensure/certification where applicable.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required or you must be actively enrolled in high school/HS equivalency program.
• State licensure and national certification requirements vary by state.

Responsibilities

• Support pharmacy team to ensure safe, accurate prescription fulfillment and prompt service.
• Assist with immunizations communication and patient education when applicable.
• Follow pharmacy workflow procedures and SOPs at each workstation.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and proper medication stocking within legal guidelines.
• Demonstrate empathy and provide compassionate customer service in person and over the phone.
