Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support the pharmacy team in delivering safe, efficient prescription fulfillment and exceptional patient service. Technicians work as part of the pharmacy team, following SOPs and supporting immunizations and clinics where allowed by law.

Training and state licensure requirements must be completed as per state guidelines. Responsibilities include assisting pharmacists, maintaining inventory, and ensuring patient privacy and safety.

Qualifications

• Must comply with state board of pharmacy requirements or laws governing the practice of pharmacy.
• State minimum age and education requirements vary by state.
• State boards and national certification requirements differ by state.

Responsibilities

• Help pharmacists manage patient health following SOPs at each workstation.
• Assist in safe, accurate prescription fulfillment including production, pickup, drive-thru and drop-off.
• Provide empathetic patient service and support immunizations and other services when available.
• Perform basic inventory tasks, including shelving deliveries and cycle counts.
• Support a high-performing team and be open to feedback to grow clinical and technical knowledge.
• Be flexible with scheduling to meet store business needs and travel to stores in the market as needed.
