Job summary

CVS Health, a leading national retailer, seeks a Pharmacy Technician to support the pharmacy team and ensure safe, accurate prescription fulfillment. The role includes delivering caring service and helping patients with immunizations and other services where allowed by law.

Technicians work under supervision, complete required training, and comply with state boards and company SOPs while traveling for market coverage as needed.

Qualifications

• Must comply with state board requirements governing the practice of pharmacy.
• If the state board does not address a minimum age, must be at least 16 years old.
• If no minimum educational requirement is specified by the state board, must have a high school diploma or be enrolled in high school or equivalent program.
• State-level licensure and national certification requirements vary by state.

Responsibilities

• Follow SOPs at each workstation to help pharmacists manage patient health.
• Follow pharmacy workflow procedures for safe and accurate prescription fulfillment.
• Provide empathetic patient service and assist with immunizations and other services as allowed by law.
• Assist with inventory, returns-to-stocks, and cycle counts as directed by leadership.
