Qualifications

• IV therapy experience required.
• Pharmacy Technician license (PharmTech) required.

Responsibilities

• Delivery and pickup rounds to nursing units; fill medication orders for checking by a pharmacist.
• Process discharges and transfers; set up carts for R.Ph. checking and deliver meds.
• Process IVs, Chemo s, and TPNs; reconcile IVs and Chemo/TPN meds.
• Repackaging of non-unit dose medications; generate reports and deliver to nursing units.
• Check expiration dates; maintain a neat and clean work area.
