HCA Houston Healthcare Pearland is seeking a Pharmacy Technician II PRN to provide drug therapy and education under supervision. The role involves delivering meds, processing discharges, IV/chemo/TPN work, and maintaining inventory with cross-training duties in a busy hospital pharmacy.

Qualified candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, pharmacy technician licensure or intern status, some IV therapy experience, and at least 1 year of experience. PRN schedule with no travel required.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate / GED
• (PHARM-Intern) Pharmacist - Intern, or (CPhT) Certified Pharmacy Technician, or (PharmTech) Pharmacy Technician License
• IV Therapy, or (BCSCP) Compounded Sterile Preparations Pharmacy Specialty
• No Travel Required
• 1 years experience Required Years of Experience

Responsabilités

• Proactively communicates progress with manager and assists teammates
• Makes delivery and pickup rounds to nursing units
• Fill medication orders for pharmacist checking and deliver to nursing units
• Process discharges and transfers and support cart fill and med delivery
• Process IVs, Chemo, and TPNs and reconcile them
• Restock work area and prepare daily medication carts for RPh checking
