HCA Houston Healthcare Medical Center in Houston, TX, is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support pharmacists with medication filling, IV preparation, discharge processing, and cart set-up in a fast-paced hospital environment. The role emphasizes adherence to department policies, inventory control, and teamwork, with opportunities to cross-train and contribute to patient safety.

Must have IV Therapy experience and a valid Pharmacy Technician license; 1 year of experience preferred.

Competenze

• IV therapy experience required.
• Pharmacy Technician License required.
• Hospital experience preferred.

Mansioni

• Fill medication orders for pharmacist review.
• Prepare and check IVs, Chemo, and TPNs.
• Reconcile IVs, Chemo, and TPNs as needed.
• Set up and restock medication carts for RPh checking.
• Process discharges and transfers; assist in cart setup.
• Assist in cross-training and orientation of new staff.
