Qualifications

• Registration as Pharmacy Technician Trainee or Pharmacy Technician through the PA State Board of Pharmacy upon hire.
• 1 year of pharmacy experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Process medication orders including computer entry and preparation.
• Maintain pharmacy inventory and supplies according to established policies.
• Provide customer service by taking prescriptions and documenting information.
• Validate insurance drug coverage for outpatient techs.
• Compound, stock, and manage IV pharmaceuticals for inpatient techs.
