Job summary

Parham Doctors' Hospital, part of HCA Healthcare, invites you to join as a Pharmacy Technician II. Under the supervision of the Pharmacist you will accurately compound, fill, label, and dispense medications according to procedures and regulations.

You will maintain drug inventories, manage patient records, support unit dosing and automated dispensing systems, and deliver medications to care areas while upholding safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• IV room experience in a hospital setting or infusion setting.
• 1+ years experience as a pharmacy tech.
• 3 months+ experience in product compounding.

Responsibilities

• Accurately compounds, fills, labels, and distributes medications under pharmacist supervision.
• Maintain drug inventory and patient records; perform quality checks.
• Assist in ordering, receiving, unpacking, and storing pharmaceuticals.
• Deliver medications to patient care areas and respond to requests promptly.
• Ensure proper documentation for controlled substances and dosing.
• Prepare chemotherapy and hazardous drugs per procedures; follow safety guidelines.
