Job summary

You will compound, fill, label, and distribute medications, maintain inventories, and ensure accuracy and safety in a fast-paced hospital pharmacy.

Responsibilities include dispensing medications, handling chemotherapy and hazardous drugs per procedures, and providing timely service across patient care areas while adhering to regulatory

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• 1+ years experience as a pharmacy tech.
• 3 months+ experience in product compounding.

Responsibilities

• Accurately compounds, fills, labels, and distributes medications under supervision.
• Procures and distributes medication orders per physician or pharmacist requests.
• Rounds in patient care areas and delivers medications and supplies.
• Dispenses controlled substances with proper documentation and alerts for discrepancies.
• Prepares chemotherapy and other hazardous drugs following procedures.
• Maintains drug inventory and patient records; keeps logs and prepares reports.
