St. Davids Round Rock Medical Center in Round Rock, TX is hiring a Pharmacy Technician II PRN to support pharmacists in preparing and distributing medications, maintaining inventory, and updating patient records.

You will help ensure patient-specific care standards and uphold service excellence during shifts. The role requires a high school diploma or GED, Texas State Board of Pharmacy registration, and sterile IV certification.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum one year hospital pharmacy technician experience; undergrad students preferred.
• Active TSBP Pharmacy Technician registration.
• Sterile IV certification through ACPE or ASHP.

Responsibilities

• Prepare IVs, IVPBs, and chemotherapy medications using aseptic technique.
• Prepare medications for patients, dispensing machines, floor stock, and crash carts.
• Deliver medications and IVs accurately and timely.
• Complete monitoring and documentation, e.g., temperature logs and inventory checks.
• Assist with pharmaceutical and supply inventory control.
• Perform drug distribution duties as assigned.
