Job summary

Cornerstone Specialty Hospitals Round Rock is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support the pharmacy team in a hospital setting. You will assist the registered pharmacist with dispensing medications, preparing IV packs, and managing inventory to ensure patient safety and compliance.

Responsibilities include processing prescription orders, maintaining records, and ensuring proper labeling, dosage calculations, and documentation.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience as a Pharmacy Technician in a hospital pharmacy setting (Preferred).
• Combination of Education and Training in computer processing of prescription orders.
• Ability to read, write and speak fluent English.

Responsibilities

• Assist Pharmacist to prepare and dispense medication.
• Mix pharmaceutical preparations, bottles, and labels; prepare IV packs.
• Process records of medication and equipment dispensed; enter data in computer.
• Ensure proper stock, inventory records, and restock shelves; rotate stock.
