Job summary

Atrium Health's Bermuda Run Pharmacy at Davie Medical Center is hiring a Pharmacy Technician II for full-time days (Mon-Fri, 8:30am–5:00pm) with holiday rotation. You will assist licensed pharmacists with medication preparation, distribution, and inventory.

Requirements include a High School Diploma or GED, CPhT or ExCPT certification, state board registration, and about one year of related experience. A $6,000 sign-on bonus is available for qualified candidates.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required.
CPhT or ExCPT certification required.
Registration/licensure with state board of pharmacy per state of employment.
Typically 1 year of work experience in applicable setting.

Responsibilities

Assist licensed pharmacist in preparation and distribution of medications.
Accurately select, prepare and label medications including hazardous drugs and controlled substances.
Assist with medication distribution tasks and inventory control.
Screens phone calls and routes as needed with proper etiquette.
Assists in daily pharmacy procurement, inventory control and outdate checking.
Complete documentation required for removing, stocking, and wasting controlled substances.
