Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a Pharmacy Technician at the Bermuda Run location (Davie Medical Center). This full-time daytime role supports pharmacists in medication preparation, labeling, and distribution, with a focus on safety and accuracy.

You'll work Monday to Friday, 8:30am–5:00pm, with holiday rotation and a $6,000 sign-on bonus for qualified candidates. Ideal for candidates with a high school diploma and a CPhT/ExCPT certification.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Certification through Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (CPhT) or National Healthcareer Association (ExCPT).
• Registration or licensure with state board of pharmacy per state of employment requirements.
• Typically, 1 year of work experience in applicable work setting.

Responsibilities

• Assist licensed pharmacist with technical duties for medication preparation and distribution.
• Identify and label medications, including hazardous drugs and controlled substances.
• Handle medication distribution tasks and screens calls.
• Assist in procurement, inventory control, and checking for outdates.
