Job summary

Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist pharmacy team is seeking a Pharmacy Technician II to support licensed pharmacists with medication preparation and distribution. The role includes labeling, patient-specific dosing, and participating in daily inventory management in a fast-paced environment.

The position requires attention to detail, strong customer service, and the ability to communicate effectively with staff and patients. M-F days, full-time with potential for immunization duties where allowed.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or GED.
• Experience in pharmacy operations preferred.
• Attention to details and accuracy required.

Responsibilities

• Assists licensed pharmacist with technical duties in medication prep and distribution.
• Selects, prepares, and labels medications for patients.
• Assists with medication distribution and inventory tasks.
• Screens phone calls and routes them as needed.
• Performs nonsterile compounding and IV admixture where applicable.
• Maintains documentation for controlled substances as required.
