Essential Functions Include

• Filling and delivering medication orders for all age groups under the direct supervision of a pharmacist.
• Performing non-sterile compounding and repackaging.
• Answering and screening telephone calls and referring calls to a pharmacist when appropriate.
• Processing cart fills, refills to automated dispensing machines and replenishments to emergency kits and carts.
• Demonstrating proficiency with equipment and software.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; 2-year/Associate Degree preferred.
• Experience: Minimum of one year in pharmacy skills such as medication distribution, sterile compounding, etc., or equivalent experience as described.
• Current registry with State Board(s) of Pharmacy; PTCB or NHA Certification within 60 days of hire; or enrollment in pharmacy school or equivalent.
• Additional skills include strong math, communication, technology skills, and the ability to travel between facilities.
