Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Health in Texas is seeking a Pharmacy Technician 2 to help distribute medications and support pharmaceutical care. The role involves independent work in a specialized area, order entry, and accurate billing data entry.

You will assist in purchasing, receiving, auditing, compounding, and medication reconciliation under a pharmacist preceptor, with emphasis on safety, accuracy, and efficient service delivery.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• At least 1 year of experience in pharmacy settings.
• TX Board of Pharmacy registration or certification required (RPH-INT or PHT).

Responsibilities

• Distribute medications and assist in pharmaceutical care under supervision.
• Enter medication orders and ensure correct dispensing per formulary.
• Maintain inventory, order supplies, and manage drug recalls as needed.
• Deliver medications to patients and assist with cart deliveries.
• Assist with IV admixtures following aseptic techniques and regulations.
• Support pharmacy staff with clerical and documentation tasks.
