Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a Pharmacy Technician I to support pharmacists by stocking, labeling, and dispensing medications while delivering care per Texas Board of Pharmacy guidelines.

The role involves assisting with inventory management, order processing, and communication with patients and medical staff to ensure accurate medication delivery and billing. Training under a pharmacist preceptor is provided.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required.
• Less than 1 year of experience preferred.
• TX Board of Pharmacy license (PHT) or PHT intern license required.

Responsibilities

• Stock, prepare, label, dispense and deliver medications.
• Assist patients and staff under pharmacist supervision.
• Answer calls and route inquiries to the right staff.
• Manage inventory and assist with purchasing and receiving.
• Prepare orders and ensure correct billing data.
• Maintain pharmacy records and quality control.
• Clean equipment and maintain a sterile work area.
