Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support distribution of medications and related tasks in a hospital setting. The role involves working under a Pharmacist preceptor, maintaining a clean, well-stocked area and ensuring accuracy in dosing and billing.

Typical duties include data entry, compounding, IV admixtures, and aiding in medication reconciliation while delivering exemplary patient service across the care team.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of experience preferred.
• Must have TX Board license or intern status as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a specialized area and support pharmaceutical care.
• Enter medication orders and ensure correct billing and dispensing.
• Perform IV admixtures and sterile preparation as supervised by Pharmacist.
• Assist with inventory control, stocking, cleaning and shelf integrity.
• Deliver medications to patients and assist clinical staff as needed.
