Job Details:

The Pharmacy Technician II assists the pharmacist with medication preparation for dispensing. The technician performs technical and supportive tasks to provide pharmacy services. Working under supervision, the technician focuses on accurate medication preparation in accordance with established policies and procedures set by the Pharmacy Department. Candidates must meet the requirements of a qualified pharmacy technician as defined by the State Board of Pharmacy and hold a Certified Pharmacy Technician license from an accredited agency. The technician adheres to all applicable drug laws regulated by state and federal agencies. The Pharmacy Technician II is expected to master job duties, participate in training, and engage in quality improvement projects.
