Job summary

Endeavor Health is seeking a Pharmacy Technician II for inpatient duties at Elmhurst Hospital. Per diem hours rotate between day and evening shifts, with start times around 6am/7am and 2:00pm-3:00pm, including rotating holidays.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, IL Pharmacy Technician license, and one of several certification options. You will assist pharmacists and manage medications under supervision.

• Current Illinois Pharmacy Technician license required.
• One of: PTCB/ExCPT certification or student designation issued by Illinois.

• Assist pharmacists in preparing and distributing medications, maintain drug inventory and records.

$21.50 - $33.33 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

Per Diem Hours: Rotating Days/Evenings. Required to rotate Day (6am or 7am start - 2pm-3pm) and Evening (2:30pm-11pm) shifts (8 hours shifts), rotating holidays.

What You Will Need

• Education (Required): High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Certifications (Required): Current License as a Pharmacy Technician in the State of Illinois
• One of the following must be met:
  • Current Pharmacy Technician Certification or must obtain CPhT (Certified Pharmacy Technician) within 90 days of hire, or Successfully passed the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) or the Exam for the Certification of Pharmacy Technicians (ExCPT) examination pending certification, or Current Pharmacy Technician license with "Student" designation issued by the State of Illinois

• Assists pharmacists in preparing and distributing medications, maintaining the drug inventory and maintenance of records.
