Endeavor Health Careers is seeking a Pharmacy Technician II to support pharmacists in dispensing and filling prescriptions at Northwest Community Hospital in Arlington Heights. The role involves entering prescriptions, labeling, order checking, and assisting with day-to-day pharmacy operations.
The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, Illinois RPHT license/CPHT, and hospital experience preferred. Evening shifts 3pm–11:30pm with rotating weekends and holidays are included.
Hourly Pay Range: $21.50 - $33.33 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

The Pharmacy Technician II is responsible for assisting the pharmacist in dispensing and filling prescriptions. The Pharmacy Technician duties include, but are not limited to, entering prescriptions in the computer, filing prescriptions, ordering medications and over the counter items, calling third party insurance providers, and aiding the pharmacist in the day-to-day operations. The Pharmacy Technician II is also responsible for checking in orders, putting orders away (OTC, and RX), and completing end of day closing and deposit procedures.
High School General Studies Required Or Diploma or Vocational Degree General Studies Required Registered Pharmacy Technicians enrolled in a first professional degree program in pharmacy in a school or college of pharmacy or a department of pharmacy of a university And 1 Year technician trainee experience in a hospital environment preferred.
