Job summary

Endeavor Health is seeking a Pharmacy Technician I - Retail at Swedish Hospital in Chicago, IL. This per diem role requires rotating shifts and travel to other Endeavor Health outpatient locations as needed.

A current Illinois pharmacy technician license and CPhT certification are required, with licensure certification within 2 years. The position involves assisting pharmacists with dispensing medications, maintaining patient records, and managing drug inventory.

Qualifications

• Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) required; must become certified within 2 years of licensure.
• Prior technician or hospital experience preferred; retail experience preferred for retail positions.

• Maintain patient records, set up, package and label medication doses.
• Maintain inventory of drug supplies.

Hourly Pay Range: $18.50 - $28.68 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

Position Highlights:

• Position: Pharmacy Technician I - Retail
• Location: Swedish Hospital, Chicago IL
• Per Diem (As needed)
• Hours: Rotating Shifts Monday-Saturday 8:45 am - 7 pm.
• Travel Required: Yes. Floats to other Endeavor Health outpatient pharmacy locations as needed.

What you will need:

• License: Current Illinois Registered Pharmacy Technician required
• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent
• Certification: Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) required; must become certified by successfully passing the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) examination or another Board-approved pharmacy technician examination, within 2 years of initial licensure.
• Experience: Prior technician experience or hospital experience preferred. Retail experience preferred for retail positions
• Skills: N/A
