Qualifications

• Licensure as Pharmacy Technician or Pharmacy Technician Student; certification within two years of hire.
• High School Graduate; Pharmacy technician certification preferred.
• Patient-facing roles may require immunization and injectable certs.

Responsibilities

• Develop competence in dispensing and medication delivery using department information systems and automation.
• Prepare non-sterile products following USP/state/federal guidance.
• Enter medication orders and process requests in the computer system.
• Handle calls from customers, nurses, physicians and patients with timely resolution or escalation.
• Adhere to pharmacy procedures, documentation, and regulatory requirements.
• Comply with legal, regulatory, accreditation standards including USP and DNV.
