Qualifications

• High School graduate required.
• Licensure in Wisconsin (or approved as Pharmacy Technician student) within two years of hire.
• Certification (CPhT) issued by PTCB or ExCPT within two years of hire.
• Patient-facing teammates may need Immunization and non-vaccine injectable certifications as required by WI or ACPE.

Responsibilities

• Develop competence in dispensing and delivery of medications and in department systems.
• Prepare non-sterile products following USP, state and federal guidance.
• Enter medication orders and process requests in the computer system.
• Handle phone calls from nurses, physicians, and patients with timely resolution or proper hand-off.
• Ensure pharmacy procedures and documentation meet legal, regulatory, and accreditation standards.
