Job summary

Qualifications

• Education - H.S. Diploma/GED Equivalent.
• Experience - Less than 1 Year of Experience.
• Certification/license/registration - TX Board of Pharmacy licenses required.

Responsibilities

• Performs stocking, preparation, labeling, dispensing and delivery of medications.
• Assists patients and staff with questions under pharmacist supervision.
• Answers incoming calls and directs to appropriate staff.
• Monitors inventory and assists with drug purchasing and receiving.
• Maintains pharmacy records and quality control tasks.
• Enters medication orders from doctors' sheets or prescriptions and ensures correct billing data.
• Resolves discrepancies in the dispensing system and runs ADM reports.
• Cleans and maintains equipment and work area; sterilizes glassware.
