Job summary

Lakeview Hospital is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to assist in the preparation and dispensing of medications under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist. This role focuses on tasks that do not require pharmacist licensure, freeing the pharmacist to devote time to clinical activities.

Qualifications include a high school diploma, Minnesota PTR registration at hire, and certification (CPhT or ExCPT) within 1 year. Preference for 2–3 years of pharmacy technician experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minnesota Pharmacy Technician Registration (PTR) - required at hire/start date.
• Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT or ExCPT) through PTCB or NHA - required within 1 year of hire/start date.
• Must follow State Board of Pharmacy guidelines/requirements for Pharmacy Technicians.
• 2-3 years pharmacy technician experience (preferred).
