Job summary

Park Nicollet is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to join the Methodist Hospital Pharmacy team. Under direct supervision of a Pharmacist, you will assist in dispensing sterile and non-sterile medications to patients in compliance with state and federal guidelines.

The position is a 1.0 FTE with Day/Eve rotating shifts, every other weekend, and 3 holidays per year. Certification as CPhT or ExCPT is accepted, with MN Board of Pharmacy registration required.

Qualifications

• MN Board of Pharmacy registration required.
• Certification as CPhT through PTCB or ExCPT required or preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in timely and accurate dispensing of sterile and non-sterile medications under pharmacist supervision.
• Ensure compliance with state and federal guidelines.

Work Schedule:

Required Qualifications:

We are open to filling this position with a Certified or Non-Certified technician. Requirements for each are outlined below:

Certified Pharmacy Technician

• Must be registered with the Minnesota Board of Pharmacy as a Pharmacy Technician.
• Technician certification required. Certification as CPhT through either the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) or the Exam for the Certification of Pharmacy Technicians (ExCPT).

Non-Certified Technician:

• Must be registered with the Minnesota Board of Pharmacy as a Pharmacy Technician

Preferred Qualifications:

• One or more recent years Pharmacy Technician experience preferred.
