Job summary

Lakeview Hospital is hiring a Pharmacy Technician I to join our team. You will assist in preparation and dispensing of medications under direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist, handling routine tasks that do not require a pharmacist.

Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma or equivalent, PTR registration at hire, and CPhT/ExCPT certification within 1 year. 2–3 years of pharmacy tech experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• PTR registration required at hire/start date.
• CPhT or ExCPT certification required within 1 year of hire/start date.
• Must follow State Board of Pharmacy guidelines for Pharmacy Technicians.
• 2-3 years pharmacy technician experience (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Prepares and dispenses medications under supervision.
• Performs non-licensed pharmacist tasks to free up pharmacists for clinical activities.
