Job summary

Lakeland Regional Health in Central Florida seeks a Certified Pharmacy Technician to join the pharmacy team. Under pharmacist supervision, you will prepare IV piggybacks, sterile products, and manage medication delivery following SOPs and operating a range of pharmacy automation systems.

You will communicate with care, support nursing units, maintain inventory, and stay current with required training and licensure.

Qualifications

• Hospital pharmacy experience.
• Certified Pharmacy Technician and registered.
• Experience with IV compounding and sterile products.

Responsibilities

• Fosters an inclusive environment through teamwork and collaboration.
• Delivers medications and supports IV preparation within SOP.
• Maintains inventory and sanitation per policy.
• Operates pharmacy automation systems per SOP (Talyst, MedSelect, Cerner, CAPS, QS1, Fluidose).
• Ensures patient and family communication with courtesy and safety.
