Job summary

Mercy Pharmacy South is hiring a Pharmacy Technician (full-time) to assist pharmacists in preparing, compounding, and dispensing medications under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist. The role emphasizes compliance with applicable laws and patient safety.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalence exam.
• Actively registered with the Missouri Board of Pharmacy as a Pharmacy Technician or willing to submit registration by first day of work, including FBI background check fingerprints.
• 1 year of relevant pharmacy experience preferred but not required.
• Complete pharmacy department orientation.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacists in preparing, compounding, and dispensing medications.
• Follow standards and state/federal/local laws for patient care and safety.
