Mercy Hospital Jefferson is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to assist pharmacists in preparing, compounding, and dispensing medications, ensuring compliance with all laws and safety standards. The role supports patient care and requires completion of orientation before starting.

Training levels Tech I-III with escalating responsibilities are available; licensure with the Missouri Board of Pharmacy and CPhT certification are outlined as preferred qualifications.

Competenze

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalence exam.
• Licensure: Actively registered, in good standing, with the Missouri Board of Pharmacy as a Pharmacy Technician or willing to submit registration by first day of work. This includes submitting fingerprints for FBI background check.
• Experience: 1-year relevant pharmacy experience preferred but not required.
• Other: Successfully complete pharmacy department orientation.
• Tech II/Tech III require Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) by the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB).

Mansioni

• Assist pharmacists in preparing, compounding, and dispensing medications.
