Job summary

Mercy is hiring Pharmacy Technicians (Tech I–III) to assist pharmacists in preparing, compounding, and dispensing medications at Mercy Ballas Center for Multispecialty Care. Full-time 40 hours per week.

Positions require MO Board of Pharmacy registration or willingness to apply by day one, with fingerprints for FBI background check. Education is a high school diploma or equivalent; 1 year of pharmacy experience preferred for Tech I and required for Tech II; Tech III requires 3 years.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalence exam.
• Licensure: Actively registered, in good standing, with the Missouri Board of Pharmacy as a Pharmacy Technician or willing to submit registration by first day of work, including FBI background fingerprints.
• Experience: Tech I prefers 1 year; Tech II requires 1 year and Tech III requires 3 years; orientation must be completed.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacists in preparing, compounding, and dispensing medications.
• Follow applicable standards and laws/regulations for patient safety and care.
• Support and report to the supervising pharmacist.
