Job summary

Memorial Home Services seeks a Pharmacy Technician to assist pharmacists by preparing and dispensing medications, maintaining accurate patient records and drug inventories, and ensuring compliance with all regulations.

Ideal candidates have a High School diploma or GED, Illinois technician licensure or the ability to obtain within 60 days, and PTCB/ExCPT certification, with strong communication and math skills.

Qualifications

• Requires High School diploma or GED
• Must hold or obtain Illinois Pharmacist Technician license within 60 days
• PTCB or ExCPT certification required by second license renewal (with listed exceptions)
• Excellent verbal and written communication, problem solving, math, and customer relations
• Basic computer skills and ability to use electronic databases

Responsibilities

• Prepare and distribute medications under supervision of Pharmacist(s)
• Maintain drug inventory and patient records
• Operate in compliance with Federal and State regulations
