Dartmouth Health is seeking a Pharmacy Technician I to perform routine technical and clerical duties for drug distribution to patients under supervision of a licensed Pharmacist. Responsibilities include answering phones, preparing medications, stocking ADMs/robots, training staff, and processing outpatient prescriptions electronically.

Inpatient duties include non-sterile compounding under supervision. Per diem schedule; benefits available.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in health or related field, with 1 year pharmacy experience preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with accuracy.
• Ability to multitask and maintain composure under stressful situations.

Responsabilités

• Answer phones and prepare prescriptions and non-prescription medications.
• Stock and replenish stock locations and automated dispensing machines and/or robots.
• Assist in orienting and training pharmacy staff and communicate supply issues to the appropriate personnel.
• Deliver meds to inpatient beds or patient care areas.
• Outpatient: electronically process prescription orders and verify by a pharmacist.
