Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Alabama State Board of Pharmacy Technician Registration.
• If licensed after January 1, 2020 must obtain Nationally Certified Pharmacy Technician certificate (CPhT) or complete an ALBOP approved technician training program within 6 months of licensure.
• Previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician (preferred).
• National Certification from an accredited pharmacy technician certification program approved by state regulations (e.g. PTCB, ExCPT, etc.).
• Valid Driver's License (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Assists the Pharmacist in preparing prescription medications through front end and back end operational support ranging from data entry, filing, processing, billing and shipping of medications.
• Provides excellent customer service while working collaboratively with team members.
