Responsibilities

  • Restocks floor stock and automated dispensing machines.
  • Enter charges/credits against patient profiles for accurate billing.
  • Monitor medication order reports and assign meds to automated dispensers.
  • Deliver medications in compliance with DEA, DPH, and State Board regs.
  • Prepare and deliver IV meds following USP 797 & 800 standards.
  • Maintain IV records and clean sterile areas; QA duties.
  • Repackage bulk meds into unit dose packaging per USP standards.
  • Check for expired/damaged meds and dispose per regulations.

Tasks include, but are not limited to, preparation and distribution of unit dose medications, sterile & non-sterile preparation, and stock orders.Responsible for the preparation and delivery of pharmaceutical supplies and medications in accordance with the laws and regulations of the Massachusetts Board of Registration in Pharmacy, Massachusetts Department of Public Health, and other regulatory agencies as applicable.**Essential Responsibilities:**Restocks floor stock/automated dispensing machines. Enters charges/credits against patient profile to ensure an accurate bill.Monitors medication order reports to assign medication to an automated dispensing machine. Delivers all medication in compliance with all DEA, DPH & State Board of Pharmacy regulationsPrepares and delivers IV medications in accordance with Federal USP797 & USP 800 standards.
