Job summary

• Any previous comparable experience.
• Any equivalent experience of a pharmacy clerk.
• EPRN familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Comply with local, state and federal regulations; report illegal activity (robbery/theft/fraud).
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and health regulations; notify management of unsafe conditions.
• Understand ordering functions with primary/secondary wholesalers.
• Follow guidelines for inventory management and ordering meds, devices, and supplies.
• Keep work stations and patient areas clean and organized.
• Count, measure and prepare products per company practices.
• Complete billing procedures to ensure value for customers and company.
• Answer phones, triage inquiries as appropriate.
• Follow coupon guidelines and cash shortage/shrink controls.
• Operate cash register; handle Credit/Debit, EBT, Gift Cards, cash, checks.
• Provide stellar customer experience through reception, data entry, adjudication, dispensing.
• Assist pharmacist in responsibilities not requiring professional judgement.
• Adhere to HIPAA and company privacy policies.
• Support health and wellness initiatives.
• Put away legend orders, including Central Fill deliveries.
• Work cooperatively in fast-paced, stressful environments.
• Manage conflicts in a calm, cooperative manner.
• Maintain honesty and integrity with customer and business data.
• Follow directions and seek help to resolve issues.
• Assist minors, people with special needs, and/or older adults.
• Perform essential job functions with or without accommodation.
