Golden Valley Health Centers is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to assist our Northview and SHAW pharmacies. The position follows a Monday–Saturday, full-time schedule, with shifts between 7:30am–7:00pm, and a one-hour lunch. This is a temporary role expected to last about six months.
Under pharmacist supervision, the technician performs packaging, labeling, clerical tasks, and other nondiscretionary duties per GVHC guidelines, while providing courteous patient service and support.

The Pharmacy Technician will assist the pharmacist in the performance of pharmacy related duties. Under the direct supervision and control of a pharmacist, the Pharmacy Technician performs packaging, manipulative, repetitive, or other nondiscretionary tasks within established standards and guidelines. The Pharmacy Technician may also perform clerical functions.

Lift and/or move up to 30 pounds and push 100 pounds on wheels. Specific vision abilities include close vision and the ability to adjust focus. High manual dexterity. Reach above shoulder level, bend, squat, sit, stand, stoop, crouch, reach, kneel, twist/turn, and good finger sensation. Hearing adequate for phone work and clear speech for staff and patient communication.
